GenieMau Nebula has only just joined us, and has already captured our hearts. She's such a character. Incredibly playful, gentle, and just desperate for buckets of love to be given and received.
GenieMau Nebula was born on 8th May 2017 to Geniemau Lady Charlotte, the grand-daughter of Ghaniyah.
Her sire is Ramah Geniemau Liolisimba, and her dam is the maiden queen Lady Charlotte; last of the Geniemaus. At the point of taking ownership of Nebula, Lady Charlotte was a little over two years old, and had not entered any competitions to obtain titles.
However, her greater lineage is decorated with Grand Champion, Imperial Grand Champion, Olympian, and Best of Breed awards, and as the last of the Geniemau line, she represents the end result of Geniemau's work to develop the breed.
She is so soft, so fun, and just generally good natured, that we have allowed her to meet Leo after only one week. He is the biggest, softest lump you could ever meet anyway, so we were confident the two would get on... and they did. Under strict supervision, of course! We'd never risk Leo getting carried away before Neb's, and we, are ready. A queen MUST be over 1 year old before considering allowing a mating.
...and, at the time of writing, Auntie Serenity is in a big bedroom all of her own, raising a beautiful litter of 4. Fingers crossed we'll have a smooth transition when Serenity and Nebula are allowed to meet, and they will be able to keep each other company.
